Machado Construction Co., Inc. being the dream of Mario Machado was established in 1985 after spending many years working in the concrete construction industry and planning one day to become the President of his own firm.

Since that time, Mario Machado, through his leadership and dedication to quality work, has become a leader in the construction industry and has grown to over 50 employees. Machado Construction Co., Inc.’s growth as a Minority Contractor has been well planned over the years expanding its operation into General Contracting for Highway Construction and Site Development while still remembering its roots and performing as a Subcontractor in the concrete trades.

With the expansion of the construction operation, the need for recycling of excavated concrete materials became apparent and in 2004 Machado Construction Co. Inc. opened its Lansdowne location Concrete Recycling Dump Facilities with Concrete Crushing and Recycled Aggregate Sales.

Machado Construction Co. Inc. also realizing a need for additional Minority Concrete Suppliers in the Baltimore area made the decision in 2005 to open its Curtis Bay Ready Mix Concrete Plant which services the Baltimore area. We are in the process of erecting a Ready Mix Concrete Plant located in Lansdowne with summer of 2007 opening.
